Cybersecurity Training for IT Roles is a 90-minute, role-based cybersecurity course designed for IT professionals with elevated access to organizational systems and infrastructure, including IT managers and directors, system and network administrators, security and cloud administrators, engineers, database administrators, help desk managers, and super users.
The course provides practical guidance for reducing cyber risk and strengthening operational resilience. The six modules cover Cyber Hygiene Best Practices, Backup and Recovery, Traffic Light Protocol (TLP), Common AI Attacks and Mitigation Tactics, Third-Party Operational Risk Management, and Protection of Elevated and Privileged Accounts. The course aligns with recognized cybersecurity guidance and practices from NIST CSF 2.0, NIST SP 800-53, CIS Critical Security Controls v8, CISA, and ISO information security management practices.
Each module includes a training video followed by an ungraded knowledge check to reinforce key concepts. Participants must complete all six modules and knowledge checks and then complete a 25-question multiple-choice final assessment. A minimum score of 80% is required to successfully complete the course and receive a Certificate of Completion.
